Welcome to the Sydney Beginner Squash Circuit, developed in 2023 for adults who are brand new to squash!

Hiscoes have been one of the great supporters of this circuit and we return there for the first tournament of 2025.

Lower divisions will be using modified rules and bouncier squash balls to encourage longer rallies.
Higher divisions will be using standard scoring, but I'd still recommend the single yellow dot ball.

The upper limit for players on this circuit is a SportyHQ rating of 700.
If you're rated above 700 and want to be involved, please get in touch! We will need scorers, time keepers and the more people we have encouraging our new players, the better.

All players must be over 18.

All matches are timed. 2 minutes warm up, 8 minute match. Each player is guaranteed 4 matches. But we'll try and get you 5!
The playing component of the tournament should last for about two hours for each division.

Rough schedule (updated!!)
Division 4: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Division 3: 12:00 noon - 2:00 PM
Division 2b: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Division 2a: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Division 1: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

There are showers at the club and then we usually head out to a nearby bar for some food and drinks afterwards.

Entries are capped at 40 players (now 48!), including 8 spaces reserved for Hiscoes members and another 8 spaces for absolute beginners.
